Love Lane winter bowling began with a pairs event on Sunday October 16th 2011 and then a singles on Sunday October 23rd 2011.Back then the event only attracted around 12-20 bowlers as the fall out from the closure of Stockport CC had not yielded an immediate impact on Love Lane. Today we fill every event with a full compliment of 32 bowlers so it was interesting to see what the sweeps were like a few years ago. I managed to find some of the results from the first winter (not all).
